- CERTIFIED MATERIAL TEST REPORT IS REQUIRED.
- PLATE MUST BE MARKED WITH HEAT NUMBER AND CORRESPONDING PO & LINE ITEM NUMBER USING 1/4" STAMP OR PERMANENT PAINT PEN.
SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING SUPPLEMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
S3 - Simulated Post-Weld Heat Treatment of Mechanical Test Coupons.
- The Heat Treatment cycle will be performed under the following conditions:
1. Cycle holding temperature is 690°C +25°/-15° for 21 hours.
2. Maximum ramp up and cool down rate is 55°C/hr.
S8 - Ultrasonic Examination in accordance to Specification A435.
- HCI ALSO REQUESTS THAT THE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ITEM 2 BE RECORDED PRIOR TO THE S3 SUPPLIMENTAL TESTING AND DOCUMENTED ON THE MTR.
